An explosive start to the 1971 Hardie Ferodo 500 at Bathurst. 8 of the top 10 grid spots are the new Phase 3 Falcon GT-HO.
And the top 20 cars are all under the 1970 lap record with Allan Moffat on pole 13.2 seconds faster than the previous lap record.
Allan went on to win with Falcons finishing in 5 of the top 6 positions.
