Prior to the first Armstrong 500 at Bathurst in 1963 there was a 6 hour race on 30 September 1962 for Production Touring cars and Production Sports cars. Officially there was no outright winner with declared results made in the 6 divisions.
History now records the race as being won by Leo and Ian Geoghegan in a Daimler SP250. The car completed 104 laps, 4 laps ahead of a Triumph TR4. The first Production touring was a Studebaker Lark, a further lap behind.
This black and white photo, 32 x 23 cms, is personally signed by Leo Geoghegan.
